Dato’ Mohamed Fuad Yon was a teacher before joining the corporate world. He taught for 5 years and joined the Ministry of Education where he served a UNFPA funded project for 5 years, whilst completing post graduate studies in University College Cardiff, Wales in United Kingdom. He resigned from government service and set up his own company called Asian Management Research and Consultancy (The 25 years old Company still exists today). However he gave the controlling shares to his employee who runs the outfit as the major shareholder. He then became a professional manager managing companies in various businesses. Dato was the Managing Director of Asian Management, Research & Consultancy Sdn. Bhyd, CEO and Managing Director of Malaysian Carbonless Industries Sdn Bhd, Group Chief Executive Officer of Melewar Computer group companies.
Today Dato’ Mohamed Fuad Yon is the group director of the Maju Holdings group of companies which deal in trading, manufacturing, construction, property development, steel milling, retail and office ownership & management, resort ownership & management and infrastructure concessionaire. The recently opened company handling herbal products, Uniherbal Sdn. Bhd. (pte. ltd).
